Two years after returning from Vietnam, I married Jane Dawson and ever since we have celebrated what we call the “Dawson Christmas.” It is held a few days before Christmas so that all of the Dawson’s can drive in from places like Rochester and Cleveland. This past Sunday we had about 35 of us together at our home here on Chautauqua Lake. When Santa came, the place erupted with all of the grandkids cheering his arrival!
